Henn na Hotel Premier Kagoshima Tenmonkan

Excellent location, good value.

Kiosk check-in was a little bit inconvenient. I missed the human touch at check-in. Breakfast restaurant was an outside vendor in the first floor, which was not clarified at the time of reservation and selection of food was limited. On top of that, coffee was not included in the prepaid breakfast option.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The sento was really nice and a pleasant surprise. We opted for the breakfast (a set) and it was excellent - very good quality, filling, and the restaurant staff were kind and friendly. With the location and cost, this was an excellent value.

The location was ideal and very easily accessible to shopping & dining places. Most places were walkable or just a short drive away. For those who love late nights, the Donki mart opposite gives you options to go shopping and get your necessities easily. Happy to recommend this place to visitors

I was surprised that everything from check-in & out was fully automated and there was no physical person at the hotel reception. But thankfully, there was a phone nearby to contact and the person in the office was available for help & clarification.

Location is fantastic - dead smack in the middle of the city's main strip

Parking is tough, but understandable due to the proximity to city centre

The breakfast was at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. I had the breakfast two times because I enjoyed it so much the first time. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Very convenient with the tram across the road and close to the bus stops, also close to the restaurants and shops of. Tenmonkan.

I liked it all. I'm so glad the staff was available and helpful because I'm not the most tech savvy person. It would not have been able to complete the check-in process without the staff member.

Great location for train and bus access. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy check-in and check-out process. Helpful staff.

They wouldn’t accept mail delivery during my stay so that I couldn’t receive items I had accidentally left behind at my last hotel. I realize it was my fault but still it would have been easier if I could have routed my items to the hotel where I was actually staying at. That was the only negative during my stay.

Clean large room, great location and has a onsen which is really nice bonus in a hotel in this location for the value. I also enjoy not having to deal with staff at check in etc.... perfect hotel and we will certainly be staying here again.

It says the hotel has sauna but women’s public bath don’t have sauna,it’s dissapointing.

Ease to come around: checking in and checking out is one of the funniest and smooth experience I ever had. The place is quite central and near the night live of Kagoshima no need for a car to simply go around there.

Having a laundry facility to wash clothes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay!

The breakfast was good. However, some more options would have been appreciated. The staff at the restaurant was super friendly and welcoming ad well so it really made up for it.

The animated reception. The themed room and giveaway. The books for borrowing.

Hotel was well located and easy to get around to other places of interest in the city. Paid carpark was just next to the hotel.Checkin was fast with the automated checkin machine. Room was clean and all amenities were provided for. Bed was comfortable and large enough. Highly recommended.

I often stay in Kagoshima so I've stayed in a number of mid-range hotels here. This one is my favourite in the city centre and I usually try to stay here if the price is in my budget. I appreciate the quirky and easy check-in experience. The rooms are quite spacious for Japan and always clean. Their toiletries are organic and smell great! And their sheets and covers are cotton. It's also handy to Tenmonkan but in walking distance to the station.

Located a few steps away from the tram, bus and airport express bus stop. A great many shops and eateries close by. Not far from the ferry station to Sakurajima. A big onsen offered on top of the building.Enjoyed the Japanese sweet for breakfast. TV

Great location! Accessible to trams and buses. Everything is convenient walking distance.

Located on the main road close to the shopping arcade and restaurants..

Had some trouble at first finding the reception which is strangely situated on the 2nd floor, then the receptionist is a hologram, somehow lacks the human touch.

The space for large baggage storage is insufficient.I wanted to store my luggage but all are used by small suitcases. I understand why because the lockers are too small for even small size luggage so they have to use the area for storage.
